Made two fabric covered journals this afternoon for my daughter and her best friend. They are both leaving to study abroad in Japan this fall. Designs are from the book Asian Inspired Machine Embroidery by Joan Elliot. Lots of color changes and thread jumps, but so worth it! I think they turned out nice. This is the first time I am sharing a project on Cute so hope the pic comes through.

Thank you for sharing your 1st PROJECT with us - these are wonderful designs and thank you for sharing whose they are and I am glad that even though you had many color changes and thread jumps that you finished them both - they are stunning.
