Made two fabric covered journals this afternoon for my daughter and her best friend. They are both leaving to study abroad in Japan this fall. Designs are from the book Asian Inspired Machine Embroidery by Joan Elliot. Lots of color changes and thread jumps, but so worth it! I think they turned out nice. This is the first time I am sharing a project on Cute so hope the pic comes through.
