Peg Cozies
Just wanted to show what my 11year old granddaughter has been doing today. These are so so easy to do and she just wants to say the biggest thankyou for giving these to her. She has made some for herself and her sisters and her Mum and now wants to do some for her friends.

I think it is sew good that you are passing on the joy of sewing to someone so young. I have a little 8 yr old that has been trying on occasion. We have to put the foot pedal on a coca cola crate so she can reach it. I had not thought of starting her on the peg cozies yet. Thanks for the idea.

Thankyou. I find they just love to use the embroidery machine because they only have to press buttons and not try to hold the fabric or sew straight lines!! and the machine is so easy to use they really can't go wrong. I started by just letting her thread the machine and cut jump stitches etc, now she can do nearly all except needs a little help with the hoop.

WOW, she is following in Grandma's footsteps. Your granddaughter is adorable. It is great when they want to do things with you. Can't wait for my granddaughter to want to come for a day of sewing. She is only seven. Maybe another year or so.

Yes she just loves to be in the sewing room as do her 2 sisters and other cousins girls and boys alike. I'm sure your grandaughter will love it when she starts .. I think when they are little it is fascinating for them just to watch the machine!!
