NEVER drink Iced tea at night! I drank iced tea at suppertime and I couldn't fall asleep till 3:30 am. But, I did get something done at least. I nearly completed another quilt - all from scraps. I don't know if it was the caffeine in the tea, or my excitement, but I didn't get much sleep at all last night! Do you ever do this crazy thing?

Oh Yes! I spent many late nights working on the Uganda quilt but I wanted to make sure I had it done in time and I got a late start joining in. You're so lucky you get to see all the beautiful quilts. You ought to make an album so we can see them all too. ( In your spare time of course!lol)

Yep it was the caffeine. People in Alabama drink more iced tea than water - I learned to get the decaffeinated. I saved the other for over dying fabrics. It works like a charm

Sadly, yes. Try to avoid tea, coffee and diet drinks at night, but have made a mistake on some occasions and pay the price of a sleepless night.

Me neither! After lunch, I am caffeine free. Just one glass of tea, and I am up all night!

Oh yes - many of late nights, but my sewing room is too close to the bedroom, so I can not get the stitching done I want to do. LOL

We run a fan in our bedroom, so my husband doesn't wake up to the sound of the sewing machine anymore! It's a great white noise - LOL

I did some embroidery at my sis house a few weeks ago and my b.i.l slept the whole time. Said he didn't know what was wrong with him. As soon as we were done, he woke up. LOL

I guess I am blessed. I love a good hot cup of coffee late at night. It helps me sleep. LOL Got it from my sweet angel Granny. She loved coffee.

Actually, it might even have been the combo as your mind was probably unsettled. I don't drink coffee or tea, but I do drink sodas. When my hubby drinks tea before bed it puts him right to sleep.
