My smallest is a 9 but there may be a smaller one..

I know you're supposed to use a size 9 for organza and taffeta. I haven't seen anything smaller than a 9. Hugs..Carol

Just read my manual,says not to use less than 75/11 with needle threader,I do use 70/10 the smallest my dealer sells

I know "they" actually used to make a size 9 for very delicate fabrics. But, the smallest I ever use is size 11.

I just watched basketkase's video on paper embroidery and to use a 9/65 needle! LLDS!

I just bought 60/8 to sew my silk scarves and 75/11 serger needles. I had size 80 in my serger and was having a hard time. I do love the size 60 for mu machine, however the auto threader will not work. I have to thread by hand. I probably need to buy silk thread also. Do they still make it. I am using my embroidery bobbin thread in the bobbin. I purchased the needles on line at www.discountembroiderysupply.com and they were very prompt in delivery. Kay

There are no stupid questions!!If you don't ask you'll never know. I recently did names & dates in a very small font on several antique hankies and used a size 9 and they turned out beautiful.
