I just received my order on Thursday. I ordered 4 spools, but haven't had a chance to try any yet.
The cranberry sure is pretty..I think it will be my first. I'll let you know how they stitch and try to get some picture in a few days.
Hugs!

I've been using Metro thread for 2 years and also their prewound bobbins...I love it...I have all the colors in both the large cones and the small cones...You ask why both sizes?? Because the small cones travel well for class! Can't beat the price and I love the sheen. I have a Baby Lock Ellisimo and it loves this thread.

I saw the Sigma add the other day. What threw me was it said good for high speed machines. So I was thinking it was some kind of special thread for the industrial type emb machines? Don't really know. Hope someone tries the Sigma and reports back. Hugs..Carol

Thanks for the tip about the Sigma thread since I haven't used it. Hopefully someone can give good feedback on it.

I will say that my machines both LOVE the Metro Thread. It has a lovely sheen and stitches out beautifully. Of course the price is about the best you can find on any decent thread. I'm a happy customer.

That's new. I also see they are raising their prices. The "sale" price was the original price just last week. I did send for and receive their new thread chart. I LOVE it. The real thread, at least a half inch of sample so I can see what I'm getting. Waited over a year for them to restock. Now I guess I need to make a list of what I want and buy some more. I've only had a problem with one color-gold, and have not gotten around to trying stuff like different needle and stablilzer and such.
