So very sorry for your troubles, would a bookmark be appropriate? Tea towels, bath towels, anything you give her she will cherish and if you make it or embelish it just for her she will love it even more.
I sew, so perhaps a pretty pincushion, fast and easy. Cuties have beautiful projects all the time. Linda

Hugs and prayers for you and your family. As a Mom, I especially love anything my children make for me, and I think your Mommy will love whatever you can make. Are you asking about a machine embroidery design, and if so what size hoops do you have, and what format (PES, HUS, ART, etc) do you use?
Some people digitize designs (create them) and they might be able to get information from you and come up with a design for you or lead you to one.
Hugs,
Jacqueline

Life's not at all fair at times. She may enjoy having a cushion with his picture on it. Fabric sheets to print on can be bought, or created with a solution one soaks the fabric in. An easier project might be just words relating to his interests -has he been a golfer, fisherman, collector of tools etc? It's not really a 'mothers day' type project, though. Could even just do a raggy bear design and words like 'Hugs from....'. Best of luck for you all. It can't be an easy time to get through.

Here is a Mother's Day Design Free right here in DBC. This design of Vicki Lee (basketkase)has been used by several cuties. Framed made into a pincushion and I gave you some of those project links so you can see. If she wears glasses/sunglasses you could put the design on a case or one of the zipper cases. Praying for your family and for your dad to come out of the coma.

She's not much younger than me and I always ask for a massage! Of course you can't make that. I'll think on it some more.

There's a pretty Mother's day heart on the sample page at this link. It could framed or put on a pillow. I also find that I wear my aprons a lot lately. You could decorate an apron with her favorite things or to match the kitchen.

How about decorating a reusable grocery bag. Of course it could be used for anything, not just groceries, like to tote her things when she visits your dad.

Sorry to hear about what you are going through with your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your Mom deserves some relaxation at the moment, so maybe a spa theme gift like a terry robe and slippers embroidered with her initials. Place them in a pretty basket with some bath salts, soap, lotions, lavender candle etc...wrap them in celophane paper with a bow and a cute card. Hugs and blessings, Rachel

Oh sweetheart, you sound so young, bless your heart. I am sure whatever you make, will melt you momma's heart and will be treasured her whole life through. If you do ITH, then a sleeping eye mask is fun to add to the spa package.

Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family. And sending you some special hugs to help you through this time. When I was going through the hard time of saying goodbye to my dad my 2 daughters did up little certificates that read "extra hugs, cuddle with you, watch a movie with you", etc. I know it's not embroidery but there were those days that I did need extra hugs, I enjoyed having them cuddle beside me and watch a movie together (they were 15 & 17 at that time). And when they seen me looking sad they would just walk over and give me a hug with an I love you mom. It all helped me get through a terrible time in my life. Hope this helps sweetie! Prayers & Hugs! ~Sherry~

Would you mom like an angel? There are lots of ways to make them. But, it sounds like to me she already has an angel - YOU. God Bless YOU for being her Angel. I will pray for you and your family too. Here are some flowers for you to go with a (((HUG))).

You could make her a tote bag filled with things to occupy her time while she is at the hospital. Decorate it with pretty flowers. I will be praying for your family to find peace and comfort. I am sure your mom will love anything you make for her.

Hi make her a wallet or cheque book cover. Print up some gift vouchers for a morning tea, hair wash and blow etc, foot massage, things that she will not be taking time out to enjoy. You can put a lot of love into the wording so she will know that you care deeply. Some time it is not always easy to say these things out loud, but I an sure she will treasure them. I am keeping you all in my prayers and invite you to join us anytime you need a hug, too. Be Blessed! Hugs Christine, Johannesburg

Sorry to hear that. I presume that your Dad is in hospital and your Mom stays with him long hours and doesn't have time enough to spend at home with you. I think that your Mom would be thrilled if you would do some of her work at home, like cooking, cleaning and washing.
Hugs, Lidia

Just the thought of your willingness to help will be a great load off of her. Offer to check on the house, water the plants, feed animals, run errands, bring her her fav lunch. Give her a back rub or should massage. Hug her and tell her you love you. Love and hugs to you and your family.

Oh sweetheart, you sound like such a lovely child I am so sad that your dad is struggling so badly. Just show her how much you love her with a hug, a cup of coffee/tea or some help around the house and tell her how much you love her. You sound like a really special young lady. My thoughts are with you and your mom.

You are a very special daughter and your parents are very blessed to have you in their lives. Something personal like nice embroidered nighties or a lovely gown embroidered with her favourite flowers (of course you can buy them and then embellish it with your motives) Hope that your dad will recover soon. All the best to you and your dear family. I pray that God will take care of you all.Lovies.
