Help Please. Not an embroidery question. I went into a site from here to download a freebie. Wanted me to have addons etc before I could download. My toolbars were all changed and I don't like the format now. HOW do I get back to the old toolbar? Can someone help please.

Depending on your operating system, I doubt that their software created a restore point, however you may be able to restore from yesterday. You will lose any data (downloads) since then, yet you will be better. I stopped going to places (file sharers) that insist I use their product. I have a lot less problems. Good Luck! LLDS!

I went into a site that was listed on here. Really don't need any more freebies so don't know why I went into there anyhow.

Getting too old for changes I just liked it before as I was used to it. Now I have to think too much.

If you have internet explorer, click on view and then toolbars. Uncheck the toolbar you no longer want to use. Hugs, Barba

No it wasn't. I have an extra toolbar that I don't know how to get rid of it so will just have to get used to it.

If it's Firefox you're using you go to Tools - Add ons and disable the one the toolbar you want gone, then once the button says "disabled" you should be given the option to uninstall it and then have to restart Firefox. I went to the same freebie site (the one you didn't mention lol) and noticed the "option" to install a toolbar but ignored it and chose the slow download method. Anyway that should get rid of your unwanted toolbar. Annoying the way people are "tricked" into installing rubbish they don't need, that really bugs me...but I hope you get it sorted, and booted. :) xXx
