This is the Flower I am hoping the group will feel like making tomorrow. These flowers will have either a clip or elastic added to the back. They are going to be added to shoe boxes to send to unfortunate children/people Overseas. I have cut all the fabric to take with me tomorrow. They are about 3 and a half inches wide.

Carolyn, It is a great way to use those little pieces of Fabric that you can't throw away and if someone can get some pleasure out of them. Fiddly but great fun to make Yes they can be made into Brooches - Hair Clippies or with a piece of Elastic like babies wear OR a Fascinator for the Races???

No, I am thinking of a couple who never have anything to do and one originally told us that she was coming because she is a sticky beak -- her words.

In my head. Will be busy tomorrow but might try in the next couple of days to do something. It is the type of pattern that is easier to show than describe. Sorry.

Very nice flower. They would also look great on headbands, both for the little bitty ones and for the older ones.

We are making some as Head Bands. Someone suggested making 3 of various sizes putting some feathers or leaves and tulle and wearing it as a Fascinator to the races not that any of us go to the races.
Bet it would be fun though. Hope everyone pitches in and helps like you want.

Lyn, what fun you will have at Ladies Day - they will enjoy making these - great way to use up little pieces of fabric - they are a folded circle then gathered - correct?

Not quiet. They are 7cm square then folded twice. Will have more time after tomorrow to tell all of you.
