Tried to create something : sissors holder

Is more or less ok, had probs with putting the satin border. Was not good, so I putted an extra back on it to cover my errors (any tips how to put a border proberly at both sides - Welcome)...well first try is always difficult.I'm just a beginner. Read the instructions several times then crossed my fingers and "go for it". Next time better ?
Project instructions from annaboveembroidery, text from my machine, design cat don't know anymore where I got it

Sorry, you had problems!! No tips that I can think of - perhaps it was the design of the holder!! All in all, you have a scissor holder with a cute cat on it and your scissors fit just fine! I love cats too!! Hugs, Laura*

no it was not the design, but me ! I got an anwser from an other cutie, seems that I have not used a good border (satin), she said I should use an other type for start. I have written it down and googled for it and even have some instructions now. Next time it will look better I guess

Very nice cat and you did good job! I am itching for good designing program. Don't know what you used but keep trying and you'll get there! Some software just don't cut the mustard so to speak. We all have our own learning abliities and interests too! Big Hug!

thanks. I think I'm now in a face of rather creating things than just decorating things.. My next project I want to try is a little table runner.. Let's see how that turns out.

The design is great and you can salvage this by removing the binding except for the top of both pieces and put right sides together stitch and turn.

Not bad for a first try. I now fuse one side of my binding since I am too lazy to stitch it! LLDS!

Looks pretty good to me. I think with binding it's mostly practice that you need. Especially on curves -not easy for a beginner.
