What a great looking block. I love quilting retreats because, you get sew much done and have sew much fun. This makes me wonder what your quilt will look like.

Thank you I will post the progress we meet on the Quilters Club Of America.com the beach house was off season and we got a great deal we sewed all night and called our selves Babes on the beach check it out was so much fun. we should have a embroidery retreat some where?

No I took the black beauty loaded with sewing machines we had 17 women for one week cost each $172 for a week on the ocean. thank you!!

Is this this Virginia Beach , VA.? I was there once. A wonderful vacation. During WWWII,we did not take many vacations. I guess it was a gas thing.

I'm reading the Tom Brokaw book about the greatest generation, and it is fascinating. My parents are Depression kids, so they lived through it all, and I admire their strength.
