Ok who uses My Editor Program??I just downloaded it and wanted to change my hus. designs to vp3 as thats what my husqvarna topaz uses and it is not on the editor list ??I am digging myself deeper in disappear here ??Carolyn

You could download the Demo of Sew what Pro and use it for 30 days or 60 saves.
It will convert to VIP3.
This is also an editing program.
I use it for my Designer 1 machine to convert designs and write them to my floppies in the SHV format through an external floppy drive.
**Just make sure to download the version that is for your computer operating system - 32 bit or 64 bit.
After 30 dasy or 60 saves you would have to purchase it to use it past that time.
$65.00 US.

Does your Designer 2 use floppy discs to get the designs to the machine or does it use a card that has to be writtern to using a reader writer box?

Did you phone your machine dealer and ask them what they could do for you getting a dongle? Since 5D is the latest software maybe there is away to get one.

yes it was there i lost it they said i would half to buy a new one if i/we/they couldn't find it.
I think you wouldn't have any choice than to pay the 1/2 price for another dongle.
Especially since you use it for your Designer 2 machine.
The only other option might be to buy another type of reader writer and card that would work for the Designer 2.
there are 2 other boxes & cards that may work - the Ultimate box and card and the Little Max box and card.
These would cost a little more than paying the 1/2 of the new dongle.
Not many choices as the Designer 2 uses old technology but is still such a good machine.
It is like my old H/V #1 plus machine that I still hold on to that uses the card in it too.
Especially since you use it for your Designer 2 machine.

Bernina Artline 6 is free & will convert .hus to .vp3. The download button is on the right side column.
Compucon eos is also free & will convert to .vip but not .vp3

my friend I use the Pulse Ambassador FREE DL to convert vip into jef sew I don't see why you couldn't do it the other way around?

I tried that a few years ago when i was just learning computer and i just didn't get it.I only been on computer /sewing machine for just over 2 years now.

Doesn't the Topaz read the hus designs straight from a USB stick? You shouldn't need to convert.

No thats the dumb thing they changed that machine and it takes vp3s not like the older machines that took hus.??
That was a backward step on their part. Hus is still widely used by a lot of digotizers in yheir multi format files.

Hi Carolyn, I do use My Editor. Under each of the save options, there are several sub-options. Could what you need be one of the sub-options? It's just a thought...
