Man, I am a pest! I'm trying to find the design that is the poem about not worrying about housework, because Babies don't wait. Does anyone know what it's called - and didn't someone, somewhere put up a nice design of that recently? My good friend has a new granddaughter and she "NEEDS" for me to stitch this for her daughter! Thanks for the help! Cuties are the best! Jan (coming up for air between taking photos and rolling quilts for a few minutes!)

Song for a Fifth Child (also known as Babies Don't Keep) by Ruth Hulburt Hamilton
I found a couple of versions.The first one is probably correct.
Mother, O Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing, make up the bed,
Sew on a button and butter the bread.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I’ve grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue,
Lullabye, rockabye, lullabye loo.
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo
The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew
And out in the yard there’s a hullabaloo
But I’m playing Kanga and this is my Roo
Look! Aren’t his eyes the most wonderful hue?
Lullabye, rockaby lullabye loo.
The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
But children grow up as I’ve learned to my sorrow.

I digitized one a few years ago. What is your hoop size and format. I'll upload it. I added other designs in a second hooping. Since I don't remember where the designs came from I will only upload the words I digitized.
