Well i have been fooling with bobbin threads !!
I used the same blue for top and different backs #1 back is white thread (bobbin lace thread)
#2 Is clear like fish like.
I found this very intresting .My sister don't care if the color is a wee bit off lol
What do you think???hugs

It looks like it makes them a tiny bit different sizes - it pulls tighter than the bobbin thread.

The first 2 Blue in rows 1 and 2 looks like the underneath stitches appear to be thicker and have a nicer look to them.
The blue thread is /was tick lol

So much fun to fiddle with the colors. The white bobbin gives a variegated appearance. They are pretty and hope her recovery is right on track.

My preference is to have same color in top and bobbin. Also it would be better to see on a neutral
or white background-I can't tell in the photo except
some appear lighter

The blue thread was really thick and would not work well in the bobbin hugs

Interesting but if I had made them I would have sewn then up so the darker blue were at each corner and the bottom right in the middle. Its intersting to see all the ideas that we (we being those who come here) produce
