I have a large 30 lb male Shih Tsu named Jax..He is 3 now. He was a gift to a family member and was kept for 3 days and didn't want it. He went to 2 more homes At 1 of the homes her dog and Jax did not get along tried for 3 weeks So she asked if I would take him..In the first year that I have him I was tempted to get rid of him, then he just turned into a wonderful smart obedient dog. Even puts himself to bed now. No I haven't sewn anything
for him.

I have 2 fur babies, Kodiak, a large golden retriever/collie mix, and Roxie, a lab/akita mix. I made beds and scarves for them. They are very large and very spoiled :)

I had a poodle for all most 18 years. He was my baby. He past 2 weeks ago on a Friday. His name was Abu. He was named after the monkey in Adladin. I am lost without him.

I have a 3.5 year old Yorkie named Mickey who I adopted 2 years ago. I've made him a covered cushion (appliqued) for his bed and have put his name on his collars and leashes. Temporarily living with me are three beagles that I make nothing for as they chew up everything.

I have 2 fur babies. Fuzzy Wuzzy who is a white Bichon Friese. She is 13 years old. I also have Oscar who is a Boston Terrier. He just turned one year old. Oscar is the 8th dog I have had. No I have never sewn anything for either one of them. Hugs, Mary

I had a little rescued Pom he was 5 years last year and was killed by a pit bull from across the street I sewed jackets for him I have a poodle and fist mix that is 19 years old this year and I have not sewed any thing for her she so little My mom has a black pom that lost her hear and I sewed a lot of dresses for her.

I have a pit bull/lab mix. Rosie is the sweetest dog you could ever ask for. I can take food out of her mouth.....how many dogs can you do that with? She is so docile, she takes biscuits from my 3 yr old granddaughter with just her lips so gently.

I have a collie (I call her my early warning system; she barks at EVERYTHING) and I have a red heeler mix; plus three cats, one of which is 17 and still going strong.

I have a dog called Risky she is a labrador collie mix and just over 1 years old. She is a wonderful gentle and obedient dog except when we get near water. Then she changes in this hyper animal that splashes everything!
I also have 3 cats: Janneke a long haired tabby is 10
Mhing a black one who is 9 and Snap a ginger one who is eight. And yes she is called Snap for a reason. She hisses and spits at everybody.
No I have never embroidered for the animals.

I have a dog, she is a black labrador, she is 3 years old, and is name is Delicia, and she is really delicious, charming.I have 3 cat, one white and one tabby those 2 are brothers 9 years old their name are :the White and the Tabby it is not very original! those 2 cats are very precious for me. My son had find them in the garden where their mother, wild cat had put them. It was the folloing day that my husband passed, and my son has bring them 2 in home and saying, "you need care of them and have their compamy"
and I am criyng to tell that to you.
I have also a very old cat she is 19 years old, her name is Gigi, she go every day outside, and love to sleep in the sun, just befoer the door.
No I have never sew for any animal!!!

I have a 3 yr old Maltese called Snowy. She is my husband's baby. My baby is a 3 month old Yorkie called Raven. He is just gorgeous and is the reason that I am not doing much sewing at the moment. I have just knitted him a jersey and am busy making him a warm jacket

We have 3 Yorkies at our house, Tuffer who is 6. Daisy who is 4 and Bubba J. We don't know how old Bubba is for sure(probably about 13). I adopted him a year ago when his human daddy died and his human mommy had Altzhimers. She couldn't care for him so I took him in. Not like I needed another one but I couldn't resist him. He feel in love with me instantly. He keeps a constant eye on me and sobs if I leave him to go anywhere. We also have a 10 year ols English Bulldog, a Quaker that talks constantly and 3 cats. Blue a seal point Siamese, Buster a lilac Siamese, and Boomer a black stray we found in our barn when we came home from camping last year. It doesn't pay at my house to say "No more pets". Another one always shows up.

We have a pond full of fish, after we lost our life long Friend. Mudge the dog . nothing could replace her. Hugs Pam

It's been a long time since I've had a pet. I've had several dogs over the years and somehow something always happens. I've had them disappear with no sign of anything, I've had them pass. We ended up with a few strays as we couldn't turn them away. We at one point ended up with a couple stray cats (we think they had been dropped off out in the country and they managed to survive - not sure for how long before they found us).
Didn't do any good saying no more!
But now it is no more as I live in an apt. and no pets allowed.

we have a pekingese named Taffy... we got her from a rescue group. She was in a puppy mill and she was all matted when they got her and her tail was broke in the cage door.... lucky for her she is now the most spoiled dog on the planet earth. I think she has at least 5 beds in every room in the house. and she is so much loved by myself and my husband (whom usually likes big dogs) she is only 11 pounds.

I have a little Chipoo and her name is Jugears. My husband named her after a character on the Brit Com show, Mr Rumbolt, Are You being served, which we both love. sew on ladies

I have a little ball of white fur with 2 1/2 Kg of dog inside.

Named Baci (little white Italian chocolate kisses) because she had a very active, long, pink kissing tongue when she came to live with us, this little miniature Maltese has the attitude that all people who see her, love her and will obey her. She's completely committed to self-comfort. She has no size perception and thinks she's a Rottweiler.

Her life-long ambition, apart from keeping DHDon and me in order, is to find the sunniest, warmest spot on the deck where she will lie and cook herself until the 'voice of eviction' sounds and she will then unwind slowly and saunter inside. Her attitude?.... call me if you will but I'll do it in my time!!!

I made her a real quilt (patchwork, batting, quilted... the lot) from fleece scraps to use where she is anchored in the back seat of the car but for some unknown reason she took an immediate dislike to it and often scratches it out of the way to lie on the seat - no doubt, like a real person.

Despite her Royal Attitude, she has a wonderful nature, is very loyal, fun loving and has never snapped or tried to bite or even snarled at the various grand- and great-grand-children in their attempts to play with her.

Need I say we're smitten with her and her antics???

I have a little brown nosed orange ball of fur and somewhere down in all that hair is a very small pomeranian named Toby. I've had him about 8 years, I had two very old poms when I got him and they have since passed but taught him to be quite a mommas dog, he is a true joy.

I don't have a dog at this time but I had a beagle named Rex but I also called him Pookie. When I drove into the yard he would always run around the corner of the house to the fence to greet me. One day I got out of the car and said "Hey Pookie". Someone shouted back Hi and waved. It was an elderly man walking across the street and he thought I was talking to him. I think I made his day. lol

Hi we dont have a pet as such but we have native birds and possums visiting us each 5 kookaburras butcherbirds magpies about 50 Rainbow parrots. Seeds for the parrots. meat for the other birds and corn cobs and fruit for the 4 brush tail possums keeps us bussy. most are t hand fed. The possum is in the garage celeing and wants his banana.

We have a cat and a dog. I haven't made anything for either of them. Both are males and Maurice wants no BLING on them! LOL

hi girls it looks like I'm not the only one to have a pet that LETS us share her space dh bought me a diamond ring and I took it back, got the money and got a pek she weighs 12 pounds and I've her for 11 years and her name is diamond hugs Diamond

I have one furbaby, a pekingese called Mushu. He is about 10 years. The light of my life. Just sad at the moment as he is in kennels while we are overseas. His winter coat and blankets are made and embroidered by me!!! Sarah.

I have a wheaten Scottish Terrier. Sparky is 1 1/2 yrs old and quite a handful. I also have an American Bobtail rescue cat who is 13 yrs old. For awhile I didn't think the two were going to get along but the cat has learned to put up with being 'sniffed', if you know what I mean. And Sparky shares his bowl with the cat. Strange pair.

My boss is a 9 year old Bichon named Bailey. He is the head of the household and doesn't mind letting you know it. He weighed 1# 3oz. at the age of 13 weeks and still only weighs 10#. He eats a bit of dry dog food mixed with canned chicken and green beans and cottage cheese. He won't go to bed with those couple tablespoos of cottage cheese. When he thinks I should go to bed he tells me and we get the cottage cheese then potty then to bed. He sleeps on the foot end of the bed or when it's cold he sleeps up next to my head on the pillow.

Trev and I don't have pets anymore. We had 2 Shelties over the past 26 years. The first we got when she was 2 and peed everytime I went to sweep the floors - she was petrified and obvioulsy hit at some stage before we got her. By the time she died at 14 she was just the most beautiful, gentle, loving and loyal guard-dog of our home and family. We had a cat Bonnie at the same time as Kelly and she lived till 12 she was also gorgeous, gentle and black as the ace of spades. The kids were young and couldn't say Ebony so we shortened it to Bonnie. We got Bella a year after Kelly died and she was the most beautiful dog I've ever known. I made quilts for her over the years and she slept on lambswool rugs too. In the latter years she slept on the end of our bed as her arthritis was so bad. She died a year ago last Friday 4th May. Wow, so many wonderful memories of our beloved spoiled pets. Thanks Loralye for asking this question, love and blessings Chris

I have a 1 year old Moodle (toy poodle/maltese terrior cross) She is my baby, sleeps on our bed and sits in the front window when I go out, is still there waiting when I return.

My fur baby is Benni- 5yr lhasa apso dog- he is my world along with my GD :)

I like the animals very much, but for me not already. Yorky was and is always yet spiritually.Was whole with us until 11 years.

I have really enjoyed reading these posts Thank you all for sharing your heart warming stories Pets have a funny way of getting into our hearts to stay even if we don't want them too. My dh did not want a Yorkie he said they were wet rats! Now He loves our little BRUIIZER almost as much as me!

We have 4 furry companions. The first, is Scarlett Candy, a rescued greyhound. She will be 11 years old in August. We had a male greyhound too, Scooby Doo, but we lost him to cancer in December. Next, is Chloe a pit-bull mix. She was left in our yard when she was 5 wks. old. She will be 4 yrs. old in June and is a real sweetheart. Third is our cat, Mr. Bojangles, a Maine Coon. He is also a rescue. He will be 14 this month. Last but certainly not least, is Charlie Chaplin, a tuxedo cat. He was abandoned when he was about 5 months old and we took him in. He is now a year old and always into something. Kinda like having a toddler in the house!!! All our babies hold a very special place in our hearts and I couldn't imagine what life would be without them. Thank you for letting me share.
