I stuffed this one up when cutting the blue fabric and have a small section on the top right hand wing at the bottom near the thorax which didn't catch! Oh! well, and I think I was eating chocolate as there is a choccy mark at the bottom! I can't help myself! Love Chris

lol :):)

WooopS, I hope it was only your fabric cutting. Do you cut the fabric before you add it to the design? I don't do much applique so have little idea how it all works. :-)
by pennifold 12 May 2012
No Meg, you place the fabric on the design and then stitch, then cut off, then do the satin stitch. Love Chris

all the more reason you should keep this one just for you!Hugs Loralye

I love the light blue on the navy wings it highlights his flight. I see the chocolate landing and I won't laugh. Snicker, snicker as those moments do happen. My nose is like a labrador when it comes to chocolate, I will sniff it out real fast. Eat it too. So go ahead treat yourself keep this one and show us 3? more

Almost looks like a beautiful toile design. All the projects you have been doing for others you should keep one for yourself and this one is lovely.

Thanks Anita, I actually have some beautiful toile fabric in my stash, but the next one is blue plain pansies with a soft gold edge. Love Chris

Is that one for Mum Pat?
by pennifold 12 May 2012
Mum might like that one. I have some really pretty pansy fabric somewhere in my stash, but this one will be plain! Just about to start it! Love from me

Oh you definitely have to come down and use my bedazzler!!! Just one or two little Swarovski crystals, here and there, not too many, just a highlight, maybe give it some tiny eyes to see with, the poor thing, must hard being eyeless. LOL!!!! I like this one Chris, the contrast looks lovely. :-)))

Ta! I'm not sure about those jewells on these cases. They will get a lot of rough treatment and I'd hate for them to fall off! I'll have to have a look when I'm next down. Love Chris

The ones on my shirt go through the washer and dryer, haven't lost a jewel yet. :-)

This purse you've done is adorable & love the colors. Maybe a bit of spot remover & the chocolate would disappear.:~D

Combination of Embroidery Garden, Sue Dewsbury's large 5x7 or 8x8 ziper purse and a butterfly from a long time ago. Sorry, love Chris
