I created a new video for my website on using angelina fibers in embroidery designs, it should be up by tomorrow night. This is the Flamingo design from my website that I used to show how it is done.

I also used some of Bev's mylar in the moon and now am addicted to mylar..LOL!

I've never used angelina fibers so I will have to watch and learn something new. Very pretty birds and moon.

They are like thin threads of optical like fibers. Available in yarn stores too for they can be spun into yarn for exotics
types. Probably available in sewing places too so many crafting uses
by basketkase 12 May 2012
I cover that in my video....I bought mine on the internet, just google angelina fibers....

I do not have any, however I think you heat them together to make a pattern or does it come in sheets? Incredible design!

I look forward to seeing your Video on using the Angelina fibers with your designs.

For those that don't know what Angelina fibers look like I will place a link below for all to see.
There is also Angelina film which is similar to Mylar but it is works better and is a little heavier.

There are 2 kinds of Angelina fibers - one is hot fixed which you cover with a teflon sheet and heat with an iron to form sheets of the product to use for embroidery.
the other is just regular and is not Hot fixed with an iron so has to be used differently.

Stunning. Love that you put it on red fabric.

Thank you.....that's why I used the fibers as I knew the pinks wouldn't show up as well on the red, plus this being a fleece vest the angelina fibers helped hold the threads to the top of the fabric..

Your Angelina Fibers and Mylar video is very good.
