Happy mothers day! I need help to find a design of a cat, a Bengal. My son just bought one (adorable, as you see) and I want to make a nice towel/blanket. The cat has occupied the basked I crocheted for my sons girlfriend (from old bed sheet) and he needs a bed .... / Peggy

Totally adorable and will soon be too big to fit in the basket. First I came across a Bengal tiger and then I compared this free design to this little guy and with changing the thread colors looks similar enough to use if your not able to find one.

Will the kitten colouring change as it grows up? I saw my first Bengal cat last month in the local RSPA shop & his fur was ginger & gold swirly circles ,very unusual & striking.Couldn't believed that someone had surrendered him.

Ohhhhh, I am in love! What a beauty! Bengals are especially playful and they are sooo beautiful! Best cat designs, by far, are by Vicki, aka basketkase. I don't know if she's done a Bengal yet. Love the basket too!

The only Bengal kitties I've ever known about have been the BIG cats; you know, the kind in the zoo?? What an adorable little kitty. I've learned something today. What is his name?

Soooo Cute!! He is beautiful. I've heard Bengals are real people cats and very active. You are in for a great time.

He is a cutie but one thing for sure, that basket will not last very long if he continues to occupy it! The last cat I had before I acquired such a horrific allergy to cats, Sat for hours and worked the devil out of his claws just digging and digging at his kitty bed. That cat got sent out the door and decided that the utility/wash room on the other side of the carport was his new home. I started having to leave the door open for him. In the end, I finally had to give him away after a couple ot trip to the E.R. for shots so I could open and close my eyes. My tear ducts would swell and just pour liquids and itch and be blood red! My son was around 12 and he is 45 now. That was my last cat!

Thank you all for very useful tips and kind words about little Tristan! I decided to crochet a larger low basked in brown-orange-green, to fit his tiger appearance (he will not change markings), and sew a green blanket with "I love my Bengal" from Emb Library in center and redwork cats along sides. Then a towel (he likes water!) with cotton fabric sewn on with the photostich Bengal from Advanced Emb. Ready in June I hope, cause then they come to visit... hugs / Peggy
