Thank you for your lovely good wishes. We celebrated a day earlier on the Sunday so all the family could participate and today is full of happy memories and perhaps one or two chocs left... but probably not for too long!

Thank you grandmamek, we had a lovely gathering of family for dinner yesterday on Sunday. The happy glow (plus a few forbidden cheesecake crumbs) remain a wonderful memory.

What a lovely start to my Monday! Thank you so much for your kind wishes. My youngest grandchildren are still trying to work out how old a grandma who is 'two hairs older than a freckle' really is - in years? The older ones gave up guessing when they realized I'd stayed 39 for too many years before suddenly being 49 ?? Wonderful long-suffering hubby blames my warped sense of humour.
