4 days ago I posted a querie and no one has repied. My question was, is there anyone out there who uses Floriani software for digitizing and how do you rate it. Hope someone will reply.

I don't, but would also love to hear from anyone who does! Isn't it a fairly new product? Could be people most people already have software.

It was a toss up between PEDesign7 or the Floriani and I was pursueded by the shop that Floriani would be better - I think they had just taken on the franchise. I think I made the wrong choice. From responses I have received I think I may had made the wrong decision. I'll just have to try and spend more time at the computer!!

I don't have this software, sorry...but I thought that there were instructional videos on the Floriani website that took you through tutorials for using their software. I know a friend that has it and likes it...he also has Janome MB3 and Palette Next software programs. Good Luck!

There are videos and tutorials to accompany the package but I'm afraid I am not too coputer literate and find it difficult to understand - more likely my problem not the software.

Sorry for typo - the word is COMPUTER not coputer

I have Janome software so can't help you either. At least you have lots of answers now, even though none are able to directly help you!

I have 4d and like it alot. I am assisting a deaf lady to learn more about embroidery, and she has the Floriani Pro software. I have fiddled with it on her computer and I did watch the videos. It seems to be a little difficult to just do a quick edit, but has ALOT of great editing features like save-to-sew which give you stabalizer info, and allows you to save for knit, canvas or organza, etc. It changes the underlayment and other elements that effect the design. I like those features, but one thing I can't get straight is it only allows you to save a design in the c2r (or something like that) that does not allow you to covert to other formats. Or at least I don't see a way. It may be their way to keep you using their products, but shortsighted, I wouldn't buy it if I can't get other formats to work. Linda
