Can FSL doily designs (not the type which consist of several sections which are stitched tog )be successfully enlarged ?

The general rule on FSL is no changes. Some try to enlarge at your own peril. I would not try more than
10% but I usually don't change FSL.

Yes it is possible, but not always. It depends on the design and the type of stitches and pattern. The normal rule is no more than 10%: If you need any help or have more questions, just send me a PM.

FSL is tricky. Enlarging might result in weak fabric and wide columns (satin stitches). Even when you digitised it yourself it often needs some major work to enlarge it considerably. So stick to 10%.

I was thinking about doing a Jenny Haskin project that needed 2 doilies ,1 is cut in half but I couldn't find any that I liked or were not damaged too much , in the charity shops, so I thought of doing a FSL doily in the colour I wanted but the designs I had were 1-2 cm too small
wanted were 1-2cm too small.
In that case I'd just try it.

Most of the designers do suggest not to try to resize - but most want to enlarge by alot more than you do - try it - all you would do - is waste some WSS and thread and use your time - if you get what you want - then you are ahead. Keep on stitching.
