Can you explain what a half slips is? I've no idea, so can't help at the moment.

a half slip is an article of ladies clothing. Generally, half slips have elastic waist bands and are worn under skirts and dresses and generally, are shorter than the skirt or dress.

Mops people usually wear halp slips when they wear skirts and whole slips when they wear dresses. I think some people called them peticoats in the western times. That's the best way I know how to explain them. Maybe someone else will come along and share ;)

I used tricot to make my girls slips when they were little but now my grown and married daughter lives in Guam and I use a poly/cotton blend so it is cooler. Becky

mad I would say tricot but there r so many new materials out now. Why not go to fabric store & ask 4 lingerie fabrics just to see what they have. there u can look, feel, stretch, get an idea of what U might like to have. *4U
