Corner of one of the quilts made by Chris for Uganda. It is folded back to show the backing and the binding fabrics. I ironed it after this photo - a little backwards, I know. Look at the flying geese around the border! This quilt will go to Edith, the oldest. Her nickname is The queen because she sets such high standards for herself. She makes sure everything is just right for all the little orphans. This quilt top was made by Chris about ten years ago, with fabrics from New Zealand. Chris mailed just to arrive just in time for me to put the backing and binding on, and do a little quilting around each of the squares - and it's there in Uganda right now. Can you imagine what Edith is going to think!!!! Thank You, Chris
