Hi Caroline...I'm still a beginner so I was amazed at Mariëtta's draw string bag for example, so clever! I also attended a class at Bernina today here in the Cape (I have a Husqvarna Ruby so it was a bit strange working on a Bernina) and it was brilliant!! I can recommend a SA visit to everyone!
...it was brilliant! I can highly recommend a trip to South Africa, the ladies here are fantastic and soooo helpful!

It was so wonderful to have Lizell here for 3 weeks. We had a great time together doing quilting, sewing, embroidery and much, much more. Sadly she is flying back to the UK on Monday and I have already put the tissues in my handbag.Dankie Kind vir die wonderlike tye wat ons gehad het. LOVIES(aand thank you Mariëtta for being such a good teacher)

What a gorgeous picture of you two - love your hair colour Liz. So glad you got to spend some quality time with your mother Marthie too. I bet you wished it was longer than a 3 week visit. The great thing is you can fly over again in the not too distant future. Love and blessings Chris
