I know I haven't posted a project in a LONG while, but this is my latest Machine Embroidery Project. It turned out to be a LOT larger than I thought it was going to be. I made it for a friend in North Carolina. It also turned out to be the largest Machine Embroidery Project I have ever embarked upon. The person I made it for loves it, but I still haven't figured out how I am going to ship it from Texas to NC. I think I'll just take it to UPS and let them take care of it and hope for the best.
It took over 6 miles of thread, 400 feet of floral wire, 3 rolls of floral tape and more hot glue and other glue than I care to think about. It also took me about 3 weeks to complete. Boy were my fingers sore from gluing and wiring each flower petal and leaf. There are 23 roses in 7 shades of peach/coral in the arrangement, each ranging from 3 to 12 petals and over 100 leaves, not to count the ferns and the grass pieces in 9 shades of green.
