My gift has arrived and having a curious grandson with me we open the parcel. I will put a picture of the beautiful towels later but they are white with red embroidery. My grandson keeps walking round carrying them. My husband was impressed too.

Thankyou to my SS Cutie, Love both the colors and designs. The butterfly design is from Katulle i think. Yhe other towel is the letter P with a dainty butterfly. So pretty. Also as an added extra (lucky me) was a hand knitted dish cloth. Thankyou i truley LOVE my gift :)

Apologies for the delay in sharing the pictures of my tea towels. They are beautifull and as well as embroidering the designs and decorating them with the gingham ribbon I am pretty sure they made the towels themselves. My grandson opened the parcel from South Africa with me and wants to keep them. Thanks again for my beautiful gift and I hope you have as much joy from the towels you receive

I received the lovely towels from Australia yesterday evening. I do have to say that my SS has done well, since she had a challenge, for my kitchen is brink, and the only trim I have is Ivy, but I love the Australian prints she used.

Oh - and I forgot to add that she sent 2 nice swatches of some Aussie prints - thank you....hmmm - got me to thinking - maybe we need to do a fat quarter swap - it would be neat getting fabrics that we normally do not get to see in our areas.

Well, see what the postie brought me today, all the way from Beaufort in SC. They are terrific and their sender is quite a poet too! Well done Secret Sister. I love them. Lovely colourful writing! They were also wrapped in a nice pink printed fabric and a lovely white ribbon. Those will find a use here too. Thanks so much!

Is there any way to merge the 2 threads of this tea towel swap info? It's hard to keep track with 2 places going. Still waiting to hear that the package I sent has arrived. THANK YOU to my Secret Sister - I received my towels in the mail and I am so thrilled with them - they will make my kitchen LQQK so special - I appreciate the time and effort that it took for these to come to me - as well - I love the sweet home made friendship card with the handmade yellow rose and for letting me know your were OUT STATIONED and that was the reason for delay. WAY to go Secret Sister - you are the best because you are mine.

Sad very sad, still no sign of my towels at the Post Office!!! It's now two weeks after the date it was suppose to be here. I don't know what happened or have my SS forgot. Hugs Louise

Hang in there, it took 6 weeks for my SS to get the ones I sent and I sent them priority!!

Talk to the postmaster at your local post office! We had an express package that was misrouted, and then refused at the post office because it was 1 cent short on postage. It is back to the sender now. How frustrating!! Not the first time either.

They are going to look great in my Kitchen.
I then also received a lovely FSL Angel, I will hang in my sewing room, and remember my SS every time I look at it.
