The joys of 'Vista' the only way I have managed to rename a file/folder or shift them is when I first open my coomputer which has been turned off for at least 4hours
Will try that. ty. *4U

I'm suspicious that you have a virus. That "behavior" is typical of some malicious types of viruses. I'd suggest talking to a computer repair person.

Thank you. I will run my anti virus scanner, then go for my motorbike ride as I told lbrow then try things out again. If I still have the problem, I will reformat etc, then if still have the problem, THEN I will call the place I bought the comp. *4U ><>

joanie why don't U try rebooting your cp & see what happens
good suggestion...sometimes that does help clear up things
Thank you. I run my antivirus scanner every day. Only tracking cookies show up and I get rid of them always. I will shut my comp down and go for a good motorbike ride and then try again hehehe *4U ><>

Good place to start when something happens is google! Short answer i found was "ASP.NET is a web application framework developed and marketed by Microsoft, that programmers can use to build dynamic web sites, web applications" You may have inadvertantly downloaded something or changed a setting somewhere.

Oh gr8. I have not chg'd my setting there for users ever. MY husband says he has only one user (his name) and has exactly the same comp as me. So I deleted that one... could be major OOOOPS then eh?!?! *4U ><>

To send a file I open windows Mail, click on create mail then insert-file attachment which opens up explorer find the file and click on it then on attach. A lot less hassels.
