I went to classes for my Janome 6600 ordinary sewing machine bought all the extra feet that the teacher recomended. Most of them now sit in a draw never to be used again and forget what they were all for. Hugs Joyce

I have about 35 different feet/accessories for my Bernina 730 and have used all of them at least once. My dealer here keeps having classes that show us how to use different feet and I just HAVE to get them (for future use, of course!).

My Bernina came with some feet and I bought quite a few extra. I have used all of them at least once and some I continueously use. I just love my Artista 640 sewing side as well.

I have about 25 different feet for my Babylock Elissimo. I do not have all the feet available for the machine but am happy with every one that I have.
I have each foot in a small ziploc clear plastic bag with the original instructions.

I bought a lot of extra feet ( i've never counted them) for my Xquisite and Diamond machines and the speciality ones I don't use a lot are hanging, in their original packaging, on a peg board behind my threads.
I am finding I have to look up the manual to see which foot is needed for which process, I didn't use to have to do this with my old sewing machine. Must be getting too old! LOL!!!

I have many special attachments. Some I have not used with this machine but I owned another machine that had similiar ones that I used.

I have been seeing many blogs/videos that show you how to use certain machine feets and I am enjoying looking about them.

I have a Flower Stitch foot and micro serger foot (copy righted 1987) that I bought many years ago. Both made in Japan.

The only feet that I have not mastered is the rolled hem foot. Which looks easy but it's how I hold it that it keeps jumping out ;<

I got quite a few feet with my Janome and I also bought some extras. So far I haven't used a lot of them. You have got me thinking - maybe we should all take the time to sew a test piece with each foot so we are familiar with what it can do and mark and keep the sample. Maybe that would also get us using other feet for their usefulness (Yes, I know, it's easier said than done! hehe)
