There is no back loop, it is stitched on the towel with a straight stitch.

You and Sewinghuggs have done a gorgeous job together. As always you're both ahead of me...but I'll be there soon. LOL This type of design will also be a first for me, too and I'm honored it has been designed and created by my sister...and already stitched..by both my sisters. I'm so blessed to have y'all as my sisters and embroidery buddies!

How does the towel attach to the towel topper?
Would a wide FSL band attached to the back work to hang the towel from so the towel can be taken off and washed?

Yes you can put elastic or whatever but for me no-one is to use this towel it is for looks only BUT HER DESIGNS WASH WELL I HAVE COASTERS THAT HAVE BEEN WASHED 20 TIMES OR MORE AND THEY STAND UP WELL.i WASH IT CAUSE MY HUBBY IS BLIND AND SPILLS COFFEE ON IT LOL HUGS

yes vicki if you want to try fsl sewinhugs are what i would call the best they really stand up to the washing machine her coaster wash over and over give it a try come on girl:):)hugs and Goodnight:):)
