This is a project I did not long after I got my embroidery machines. While there is not embroidery on this project this was fun to do. It was like putting a puzzle together. My intentions were to do another one better, but this got put into a drawer and forgotten until I started to clean a little last week. There is a name for the technique, but for the life of me I can not remember what it was. Just a fun class that I went to.

I'm not at all sure Dionna, but is it called trapunto? Whatever, it's very pretty. :-)

No, this is not trapunto. It is actually small squares of fabric placed on a grid and then stitched and quilt made. I have to go check this out again. I forgot how pretty it had turned out. This was done about 2 1/2 years ago.

Donna, this looks like it could be a sort of 'bargello' quilt. It is very beautiful - love the clean colours. *4U

Very pretty. You chose my favorite colors. Yellow & blue . That's my choice for most of my quilts. A flower for you.

Thank you - I had decided it would go in my sewing room, but don't actually have room for it to hang - too many windows, but will find a place for it somewhere!

Thank you - this doesn't show it, but the white and blue actually have a little sparkle in the fabric

Very pretty dlonna, I don't know why you put it away - it is lovely. If it were teal and peach - you could send it too me and I would put it on a wall and have it displayed for you. Hehehe! *4U
