I made a quick quilt for my great nephew a few weeks ago, and gave it to him yesterday, his mum my niece wrote on Fb how much he loved his new blanket , my darling hubby , just had to write this
"A blanket is something that keeps you warm by proven scientific processes, a quilt keeps you warm through the love and prayers sewn into every stitch, by someone who loves you."

My DH , had his big 60th birthday yeaterday , so we had lots family and friends around,we had a wonderful day , and little Daniel very special , to receive a gift when it was Uncle Trevors birthday,

Daniel told his mum he wants to take his quilt to school,he was most upset when mum told him he could only take it on Tuesday for show and tell.He is 6 years old,its sure going to be loved.

Love that answer - used to make me crazy when I worked in a quilt shop to hear non quilters say "blanket". This wold have been the perfect answer! Maybe someone will digitize it so we can use it for a framed piece?
