28 years ago today I lost my son. He was 19 at the time. I received my annual card from POMC on Friday. I thank them for being there. My heart goes out to any and all who have lost a family member in an untimely death. On Facebook I posted how I felt, shared a few memories and a pic of the plaque he received when he was a Police Cadet. He was not an officer, just a young kid trying to figure out who he was at times in this sometimes difficult life we all lead. This afternoon I will go to his grave site and leave flowers and tell him just how much he is missed.
