by mariahail 28 May 2012
yeah, I think you will need a few more!!! is there any site where I can find the sizes for this little dresses? I never sold any but I am making some for abandoned kids in Houston...

I havenèt got a clue, I watched a bunch of utube videos & came up with a pattern that I can use that suits my style & I just add to the length but otherwise they are all cut out the same well I do cut the armholes to match the length too!

Well, you could go by last year's sales and then make some dresses.
I think you'd probably need more for a two-day sale, probably twice that number. What you have doesn't seem to be a lot of dresses for a sale.
Do you have Big Sister/Little Sister sets?
Do you have other things in your sale?
What kind of sale is it?
Are the dresses a major part of it or an 'on-the-side' sort of thing?
This is my first thinking effort for the morning.... I could be right off-track here..... :}

this is my first time doing one of these & the only reason I know the prices from last year is because my daughters friend went last year & bought one for her daughter & wants to buy more this year! & she expects to pay more however I am keeping last years prices too!

Where will the sale be held and how much time before it starts. if there is a lot of customer traffic you may want at least 10 more. These should be good sellers with summer here.

Since so many folks have different tastes in clothing, the more variety you have the better. Are they all the same size? You might want different sizes too.

Loralye, make sure you take something with you to take orders....you never know how well something will sell, so if you don't make enough, you can always take orders or if someone wants a specific color then you can take orders for that as well..

There is no way to predict what will sell. However, with this product, there is no way to make too many. You can always donate the ones that don't sell, take the cost of supplies off your taxes, and take the donation off your taxes as well.
