Snap top pouch - I thought I'd have a change from ITH zipped things and decided to have a go at digitising a pouch with bits of tape measure in the top. This prototype has a touch denim type fabric inside and a scrap of print outside. (I stitched across the corners with the sewing machine to give the boxed effect)

Sewing made easy again. Looks nice. Did you tape the ends of the metal tape very thoroughly or do you trust the tough fabric?

I trusted this fabric as it is really togh (not touch!) Would use tape otherwise.
our quilt teacher as told us to wrap scrap batting around the tape to prevent injuries to the fabric

Nice bag - I bought a snap-top bag pattern and just got it made - pretty clever the way they work. I am hoping to make some alterations to mine to make it a big larger. Like the box bottom adjustment you made.

I have made many of these in all sizes on my sewing machine and they are called snap pocketbooks and the patterns were bought.
Since yours looks the same, but in the hoop I am ready to try this.
