Update on Zachary,our grandson,he has had is first insulin shot. He is resting in the hospital now his blood count was 429. Normal is 72 to 110. He will be in the hospital for two days mostly.to learn to give himself insulin shots. So glad his. Mom was on the ball, and called the Dr. And that Dr sent him to the hospital. Thanks.for all your prayers.

That is great news! The needle is tiny and he will learn how to give himself a shot without even feeling it! Good for them that they found it in time. Yeah!

He'll be an expert before long. What a learning curve for him and worry for his family. Thank goodness it was picked up and dealt with straight away. He should be feeling way better when the treatment kicks in.

What a brave little boy and a wonderful Mommy. I am so glad that he will be OK and that things will now go well for him and his family. Prayers are still up for you and your children and grandchildren.

2 of my kids have diabetes. My son was 5 and daughter was 11 when theygot it. My son is 54 and Janelle is 48. Janelle is on the pump now. My prayers are with you. Don't let people tell you what can happen. Just the Dr. That;s how I got thru it

Great news! Kids are much better patients than adults. I loved working with infants. Thank God for technology.

Wonderful news on Zachary...children are so resilient and with the support of his loving family he will thrive...thank goodness for early intervention!!
