6-2-2012 I have noticed that a lot of us are searching for Disney. Which are licensed and aren't supposed to be given away FREE. I have a brother machine and there is a site I can get Disney designs...there are over 50 pages I can choose from. Let's try to stay legal. They have far more then just Disney. They are $6.99 a design but that's cheap to keep 'Cute Embroidery' out of trouble for posting illegal designs.

Too bad this is only for Brother owners. Many of us have other brands but have software which allows us to convert to diffferent formats and would gladly pay for such nice designs. Maybe eventually they will expand.

Are the designs for sale only for Brother machine owners. I would think that if they sell the designs in your format and you buy them that wouldn`t be illegal, am I wrong. I am not looking to buy any, just wanted to ask

This is a legal site and the designs will only be sold to people with the machines that legally can stitch out Disney. You have to list your serial number, model number and where you purchased your machine to buy any of the Disney designs.I doubt they will stitch if you don't have the right machine.

Now I am very much confused. Went to the site and under the tab licenced designs there are a category Marango designs - african safari. They are the same designs that I got from Cute.

I love Disney designs.. but do i want any designs I cannot use.. i have a prebuilt disney machine the law says I can only use these designs for my own personal use.. therefore I have no use for these designs so I ignore them :-)

Personally it doesn't bother me to enter my machine info on a Brother site. A lot of it is marketing research. I was hoping to help THOSE who wanted to obtain designs LEGALLY without having to buy a DISNEY Brother machine, I didn't care for that machine and returned it. But I doubt that anyone cares if I liked the machine or not. That is why I usually choose not to post anything if it is only to point out my personal 'dislikes'. Whether I can do anything else with the designs was not in question. My grand daughter loves a lot of the Disney characters and I would prefer she wear designs I obtain LEGALLY. Not all of us have businesses. Some of us ME for the love of it. I too wish they would make the designs available for other machines. I don't plan to just have a Brother machine but for now I am lucky enough to have one of the machines listed for the designs. Being Brother has the rights to the designs for their machine that has the built-in designs I am sure they are legal.
