Hi, I finished the last bird today and then found a piece of ofcut curtain that I bought with other offcuts in a bag. The autumn colours looked like they would go with the birds. These are the six british birds that from Emblibrary. Thanks for looking. Marie

These are lovely! What fabric did you embroider the birds on? Did you need a heavy stabilizer?Just asking because I have some other bird designs from them but I am in a quandry as to what to put them on as the stitch count seems so dense.

Mum (MIL) Pennifold used to tell me that the Bluetits would visit her place everyday (when they lived in England) and take the top off the milk bottles and drink the cream! The birds are absolutely beautiful Marie. Great job, congratulations. I'd also submit it to Embroidery Library. Love Chris

Your project is gorgeous! It has just the right balance between embroidery and fabric. The fabric colors really compliment and show off your work. You did an amazing job choosing the correct thread colors and I'm jealous that you had all those colors in your thread collection!
