I'm sitting here on my own - Trev's away tonight and won't be back till tomorrow evening. I have a beautiful Beef casserole cooking away and the smell is permeating through the house. It's about 18C outside and I have a heater on in the lounge room which I hope will be nice and warm once I get out there. I've had a lovely day at Italian classes and visited Mum. I'm just thinking about - mind you, thinking about sewing up some more of the Lion costumes for Dana. There are 4 sitting here on the floor beside me! I've finished 16 of them so far. Will I do them, or won't I? Hmmmm! Love Chris

1. This is one of the finished Lion costumes. The children are making a lion mask in class.

Forgot to mention these are for little Kindergarten children aged about 5 to 6! Won't they look cute? I've also got 22 monkey tummies yet to do. Then there are 25 bunny rabbits and about the same black vests to do. I'm hoping someone else will do those.
those and of course there are a lot of other little things to finish off. What fun???? But I really love doing them. Love Chris

Now isn't that just a laborius job? I keep doing it, but it still seems to get messy! I'll have a look at Foxtel too, as I just love the old movies. I bought the 3 LION KING DVD's today as I've got Jasana tomorrow arvo! May watch them! Love Chris

Ha ha ha! You know Kitty, I really would love to make myself a couple of outfits. I have some beautiful fabric that I've had here for years and I thought they would make a beautiful long jacket and trouser suit! Love Chris

You're very good, Chris, to cook proper food for just yourself! It's be nice weather for this dinner here in wet Melbourne tonight. Your lion suits look great, and what an achiever you are with all of those other things as well on your list. I hope you sleep well after all of that!

I ought to Marianne, Trev had to leave at 5.00am!!!! I could hear the shower, he kissed me on the cheek and asked me to shut the door as he left! No doubt he'll ring to remind me to put the garbage out tonight for tomorrow. Love C

Those are so cute!! I think I would be a tad bit overwhelmed with that many costumes. Lions and monkeys and bunnies? How many children are you sewing for? I can just imagine the sight of so many children all dressed up in costumes and masks. How darling!!

Luckily I've only made 5 - one of the other Mums cut them out and sewed them. Mind you she has industrial cutters and overlockers! I'm hoping she will cut out the vests too and Bunnies! Keep your fingers crossed. Love Chris

They look like 4 eyes staring at you, asking 'sew me now' lol You got them nicely organised, Chris! It would be nice to have one set done before you start your own outfit. I really wish you couls get some mums interested in doing some of the others.
My 4th day of summer looks dreary - yesterday the highest temperature of the day was 12 degrees and that was at 4 am, got worse ever since. Time to do some sewing, fleece or something warm like that...

You Chris are every kindergarten teacher's dream. I know cause I've been there..Alas all my Grands are now having their own so it will be a while before I have to start that again. but oh what a "high" you get when you attend the production and know what part you played./Lillian
