Question of the Day for June 5th : Good Morning Ladies Todays question is this: what in nature inspires you the most? The other day I went to get the paper & when I opened my door this is what was waiting for me! Amazing & yet it happens all the time! Take the time to appreciate what nature has to offer us!

The view from the back of my house, it changes daily but is always uplifting. If there is a sea mist there is nothing, I make sure I look out at the sunset at night which have been a glorious red for the past few days, sometimes I can see great distances other days not much., the tide in or the tide out, calm sea, rough sea... Whatever is there is so beautiful

The view out in our back yard. The variety of birds that come to our feeder area. The squirrels that thwart our every effort to dissuade them! The garden growing, the flowers that bloom - God's handiwork as the sun shines, trees blow in the wind and the clouds in the sky! I even love a stormy rainy day with lightening flashing! Just beautiful!

I have always said our Lord is the best artist! There's nothing more beautiful than His color scheme in nature, as in the birds, animals flowers, shrubs, trees, and sky! I love the smell of honeysuckles in bloom, as I take my morning walk. I love the cool breeze after a rain shower, and actually, enjoy walking in the rain, umbrella or not!

What I like best are sea and clouds. Those cloud formations as in old Dutch paintings may spell rain and lots of it, they are never boring. Or a dark almost black sky with a whitewashed house catching the son, beautiful!
But I might be inspired by the lines on a piece of bark, or a macro picture of an insect. Too bad my drawing skills are about average!

I have to admit that just being here in Idaho (instead of smoggy, crowded CA) since we retired and seeing the mountains, snow, wildlife, etc, is inspiration enough for me. Below is a picture of one of my lilacs, which I can smell every time I open the front door.

Looks Beautiful. This used to be my view but now it has a school and houses where there used to be farms. Oh well that is what they call progress I guess. Hugs Joyce

I have this if I dont run out to feed the wild birds immediatly they call me each day. If the screen door is open Henery the Magpie walks in the kitchen and stands in front of the refrigerator until I feed him. They soon learn how to train us. Hugs Joyce
