Hello all, I am looking for designs for a baby that will be born in Oct. Don't know sex. This is for a former co worker's girl who is having a baby. They are of Hawaiian

descend. I would like to honor that. I thought maybe Aloha and the baby's name on a nice fleece blanket. I don't want to use pineapples-they remind me of home decor. I welcome any advice and suggestions. I have a little time. Thanks

that's what I meant--embroidery a lei on a onesie. Sorry. Long day--very little brain power.

Find fabrics that are bright and colorful with tropical designs, birds, and floral and make bibs, burp cloths, hooded towels with these fabrics.

Thanks I have only been to 1 store and I found palm trees on fabric there. I'll keep looking. Maureen

A friend was recently wanting a baby towel for a baby in a family living in Hawaii and we ended up doing a fish and his name. I think the Aloha idea is good.

Perhaps you could use this one from Emblibrary and add Baby to it.

I found fabric with a similar design. I have written down this info for later. Maybe I could combine the 2 on a burp cloth. Maureen

The Yahoo group, PinkieStitch, has some free Aloha designs in the June 5th files.

you have to join the group to have access to the files. It's quick, though, and there's a cute aloha with flowers.
