Question of the Day for June 7th:

Well I was wondering if any of you cuties have your own personalized labels? & If do you put them on everything you make & if not why not & do you think it is a good idea to have them?

I used to have some that I purchased that just said, "Made especially for you by MOM." Used them all and don't have any now.
I just don't have the time to make any....

If someone sees something you have made and there is no ID on it then how can they ask you to make them one.Plus if you saw your creation being sold with someone else's name taking credit for it how would you feel.
I use an iron on label that i have created myself.
you can do it quite cheaply by purchasing iron on transfer sheets for using on T shirts you can get them for light or dark cotton all you need then is to download a free business card creator. i can get 64 small labels from one sheet using the minnie addresse label template. This size is ideal for purses and wallets and larger ones for quilts and such can just as easily be made. cut out one label and fuse it onto your creation. Check instructions for your film as far as text is concerned as some have to be mirror imaged
have fun with clipart and save money.
you can of course print out duplicated on card stop and make a hole in a corner and fasten them onto the item as well this allows the buy to keep the card handy with all your details on it just make sure your E mail addy is nice and clear.
you have taken the time and trouble to make something so be sure to take the credit for it.

Yes, I use them most of the time and make my own. I print a lot of photographs on printable fabric and there is always room on the sheet for several lables; so I keep a few paper printed ones ready to fit into the empty spaces of the fabic. Most of them have my name and an owl since it is "My motto".
Sometimes the city. Then I add the date with micro pen.

No, I don't have personalized labels. I make a quilt label each time with my name, city and state and the date and hand sew them onto the back of the quilt.
