Now that is a really cute placemat! The colors are so well coordinated that I can't figure out if you are using your scraps up or if you are out there purchasing new fabric to make them!

I can never figure out why we require perfection of ourselves. I do it all the time. One of my goals is to relax and enjoy what I do more regardless if the result isn't exactly the result I wanted...easier said than done!

I also think this is a nice placemat. Colors look ok to me. I wish I could fix such a nice piece.
But I can understand also what you write. I also like things to be perfect, however I guess it all depends on pratice. I bet if you try it again, you will feel that it is better for you. Maybe you just had a bad day
