First own digitised FSL Bookmark!

I have started (Thank you for all your help when I asked about digitising lace) with a very simple bookmark. I am quite pleased with it. There are one or two things that need changing. I think the flowers would work much better in satin stitch, and I do no like the right hand corner but in general it worked!

Nice first effort!

If you start the satin outline in the middle of one of the sides you get a much nicer corner than when you start in the corner, as I suppose you did.

Very nice! And the more you make, the more you learn! As for the corner: We usually try to "end" a Satain stitch somewhere "along the line" instaed of the corner, so that you get 4 nicely bend corners.

I think you could also try to reduce "density" a bit - unless, of course, you want to have such a dense fabric effect. Usually, FSL is more stable than one would think. All our "early" designs where rather dense as well, but we've reduced denisity over time and like it more. (Also less troubles during stitching).

Anyway: Great to have new "digitizers" around, and thanks for sharing.
