Welcome!!!! You are in the right place. I am sure someone with more experience than I will help, I have Embird Basic and i like it a lot, there is a 30 days full function trial for free, so you have nothing to lose. There are some free programs too but I just do not remember their names.

Welcome to Cute! I don't do a lot of editing, but do use "My Editor" to view my files and make a few little changes here and there. It is free. It is my favorite viewer/editor so far. There isn't a huge learning curve with this one.
