They forgot the wooden rolling pin, when hooping and you can't get the last corner in just roll over it with a wooden rolling pin, adding a bit of pressure.
Far easier than breaking your thumbs.

I don't think I will use the toilet brush idea as my sewing floor is tile and easy to sweep up....but I will be using the Bakers cooling rack idea for my FSL!

toothpick idea is neat too. I have one of those cork backed hot pads (12"x15") that I use for hooping . keeps the hoop from slipping.

I have one in my room. It works great on carpet. And there is a holder for it. And use it by the serger as a small trash can.
