I apologise for being late as I overslept.
Question of the Day for Wednesday June 13th: For the cuties who sell things Do you have a format for your receipts or do you just use generic ones? & if sew do you attach a business card to the bag or the receipt? I would imagine that you have your Logo on the receipts as well Correct? & do you just use reg bags or do you buy special bags for the customers to put their purchases in?

I did a show last year. I did not do receipts (special or otherwise) - no one asked for one either. I used paper lunch bags - no printing, etc. or recycled grocery bags for bigger/more(told people I was being "green"). For this years show I am thinking I will either get a stamp so I can put my information on the bags or will attach business cards to the bags. I am going to use paper again (most of my things are small and paper works fine) and going to purchase some blank plastic ones (rather than recycling).
Hoping others will chime in too.

I think recycling is a very good thing otherwise you will have to incorporate this extra cost into the items that you sell?

My price tags have my logo on them.... (hand written). I have business cards with an email address on them that is used for my crafts only, and the business cards are in holders out front for any that would like one. I do not do receipts. I use clear zip bags that have a white sticker on them with my logo stamped on, for jewelry, bibs, ornaments, etc. If it is around the Holidays I use Holiday tissue paper -- other wise everything is wrapped in white tissue paper before putting in the bag.

I have some blank plastic bags and attach my business card to the item bought. I am busy making my own label to be sewn onto the baby blankies and other large items. I also use see through bags for nice little items, such as my serviette holders and lace items, then I attach my business card to the bag itself.

It would appear that I don't really need receipts sew I thank you all for this information. I will have to figure out something for the bags, I do have the business cards & I put one in each customers bag. That seemed to work out well as I did get new orders that way. Hugs Loralye

I have an A5 flyer that I place in every order..
with my logo and my email address on.
I pack all my items in clear sealed bags then
I do use special boutique carrier bags for my items that are collected, or if being posted then they go into a poly bag.
I like my customers to feel they have a very special and unique gift.
Most of my customers pay by paypal so that is there receipt.. customers purchasing direct I issue a receipt.
Big hugs from London - Maria xx
