It is wonderful to have 2 machines going at once, but I now have troubles finding my scissors. When I had 1 machine they were always next to it. Now I move from one side to the other I can not find them. I have tried tieing them round my neck with a cord, but I stab myself contstantly. Anyone has a solution?

Get a second pair and tie or leave one at each machine. I'm a pocket person so I usually have a top with a shirt pocket to stash things in so my little scissors usually go into the shirt pocket (they are in a protective case).

I made an apron for my machines, and added a ribbon for the small scissors. This way they are always there.

I have four machines and it was making me crazy. So I just finally bought 4 of everything I needed...seam rippers, scissors, tweezers etc. Got a little plastic tray to set by the machine to keep everything in. Got a small tote type carrier to put things in like rulers, straight pins, etc. that I could pick up and carry between machines as needed. It got rid of one small aggravation in life!

I went to the hardware store and bought me a canvas nail bag. It ties to my waist. I put all my supplies in there and they stay with me :)

I bought a second pair of scissors for my second machine. It works wonderful - since it is always right there and saves me a bunch of time.***

I have three items 4 actually, next to each machine or combo workstation, Tweezers, small applique or straight scissors, screen stylus. The fourth is reading glasses, primarily to thread needles manually. The fifth required piece is a seam ripper, which I have at least 7 and still have to LOOK for one! It is not much money for quite a bit of piece of mind. Live Laugh Download Stitch!

I keep a seam ripper, scissors (usually 2 sizes) and tweezers at my machine and serger. (I have several pairs of tweezers as I got one with my serger and I got some from a $ store.)

The biggest problem I have is I take the scissors and a pair of tweezers to the table to trim threads etc and then sit back at the machine only to find they are still on the table.

I have a pair by each machine and have them connected via a lanyard to the sewing machine power cord, which I can separate them from temporarily if I really really need to.

hi Lique, I'm such a mess, I have scissors all over the place :-) The ones with ribbons can cut anything, including paper. The others are for cutting anything fabric, and then I have screwdrivers too, for hoops. I have to have enough of everything that I'm bound to find something that cuts what I need cut whereever I look. It's all a big mess till I clean up between projects and then start all over again. I can't find my best pair of fabric scissors right now, but they will show up eventually - I hope!

I have both my machines next to each other so that I can get to everything when I'm at any of the machines. It makes it much easier.
I am now trying to get 2 of each thread so that I don't have to wait to do the colour changes.

I keep my scissors on a long coil keyring from the dollar store. It has a clip on it and I hook one with a scissors to each of my machines and ironing board. It hangs there and will stretch to wherever I want to go.
