Question of the Day for June the 14th: My question today is how organized a sewer are you? What I mean is while I have been swamped with orders & concentrated on getting them done I have I guess a one track mind! When I finished everything & took a well needed rest............ I then went back into my sewing room & it looks like a TORNADO hit it! I now have to spend a whole day putting it back to normal! Serves me right! Normally I don't have a deadline quite like this & I am usually pretty good about keeping it ok but if I have to sew multiple products then thats all I can see & I worry about the mess later. What kind of sewer are you?

I try but fail miserably at being organized most of the time. I do try to use my time wisely. I put my threads away while stitching up the next item, get my next design in the thumbdrive to bring to the machine, etc. But I always have too many projects waiting to be done. You will almost always find threads, stabilizers, projects waiting in my room.

My sewing room has been declared a disaster zone, enter at your own risk! No matter how I try, EVERYTHING gets dumped on my cutting table and I don't even get to work down there yet. :-?

I really try to keep everything organized but most of the time I fail at that task..If I do put something away, I sometimes forget where I placed it. That's another story

My way is clean it after projects as there is no way I keep up. I even lose 3 pairs of scissors at time for some projects. That is usually when have 3 or four things going at once. Sew have to finish to find scissors

I always used to know where everything was, but since we moved in here, that's another story! It seems that at first if nobody knew where to put something, it went in my sewing room. It's taken quite a while, but am always organizing so that when I do something I can find what I want (as I know what I have - not always where it is!). It does get a bit messy at times. Right now you can hardly walk in there, but that will change as I have a lot of blanks to do for a show someone wants me to try.
