Update on my dad - This is from my sister ....

Dad has been transferred to Trauma Intensive Care and is going to have a blood transfusion. We feel the nursing care is better in this unit so we are happy. He has been receiving physio and it seems to be helping him not to be so stiff. He is looking more peaceful and certainly less in pain. A lot has to do with a better bed which he can remotely control into positions his body likes. I know a lot is also because of your prayers. Thank you so much. I am hoping to see the doctor again tomorrow to hear how he feels Dad is progressing. The 72 hour danger period for brain infection ended at 12 noon today and there is no sign of fever or infection. We are very grateful for this. Please continue to pray :)
And now from me - Thank you to everyone for your love and prayers, it means so much. Please continue to pray with our family. Blessings to you all. Coral

It really is. Thank you for your prayers. I have not heard from my family this morning, so I take that as a good sign.

Dear Coral, well that is good news. I'm so glad that he has a bed that he can adjust, it makes it so much easier for the body to get comfortable. I'll certainly ask God to be with you all during this traumatic time. Love and blessings Chris

Thanks Chris. Being sore is bad enough - but being sore and uncomfortable only adds to his misery. He is staying so strong. He is a man who never complains or shows how much pain he has (rare breed -ha ha). However, even he is stressed from pain. Your support and prayers are so much appreciated.

Coral- I am so glad that your dad is doing better in the trauma unit. The nurses taking care of him before should have known better then to stand him. I'm glad to hear that no infection has shown up. Let us know what the Dr says. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers. You and your family too and you are trying to deal with all of this.

Thank you so much. My family has been through a lot lately, so this very hard to deal with. However, dad is doing better. We do not know how the back injury will affect future mobility, but your continued prayers are much appreciated.
