Mothers day in Australia & USA is on the same day in may. Australia Day is 26 January. We don't have thanksgiving Day, Our Labour day is on the first Monday in March, The Queens birthday is I think the last Monday in October, Foundation day for WA only is the first Monday in June, Anzac Day (Menorial Day) 25 April. we don't have grandparent Days When you have Winter we have Summer, Our School year starts around the last week in January or the first week in Febuary to December, hope this helps

The USA has Thanksgiving in November. We have the 4th of July as Independence Day. We also have Labor Day (although I really prefer spelling it Labour as I learned to spell in Canada) and we celebrate New Years on January 1st. We have more "holidays" than I can remember but we don't take the day off for most of them.
I will sew on any of those days but I don't like to be still sewing on Christmas Eve...lol
