buy a nice new pair? Do it on line and you will have it in 3 days

You might be able to contact the place that you stayed at. Most hotels have a "lost and found" and if you send them a box with postage they should be willing to drop it in the mail back to you. Or figure out how must that would cost as apposed to getting a new set. I have actually brought a couple dollar scissors and they cut fabric really well until another family member cut open a plastic container trying to get ear buds out. lol Take a piece of fabric and try a cheap pair out at the store. You never know. Mine came from the Dollar Tree.

We take special bed pillows with us and left them at a hotel. When I called they sent them to us free if charge.

can they bring your scissors back with them? In the meantime - if they are cheap - you can replace them perhaps and then you will have a spare, too.

I am so sorry they were left behind. But how did you like Newport? I travel with a cheap pair so I don't care if they get left behind. But how strange. The cheap pair have never been left behind.

If this is the worst thing that could happen today then your life is fine, lol. Find something else to keep busy or get a cheap pair to get you through. Live can be tough, don't make it worse. As another cutie says, live, laugh, download. That should keep you busy.

LOL-well said Debra-sheesh-especially given the fact that they were said to be a "really cheap pair" from costco to begin with. Really???

I find when I do these things I just say, "Oh Well" and go on. I also have quite a few pairs of cheap scissors all around the house. You can never have too many scissors! Do not try using a knife - NO NO - Too Dangerous I am officially giving you permission to just drop a brand new pair of scissors into your grocery cart and check out - never to look back again. :-) Just teasing :-)

Guesss you'll just have to get another pair so you'll have a spare when you get the others back. I have several pairs (3 good big ones, 2 small emb. ones and many in between sizes - prob. about 6 of those, all gotten at dollar stores).
At least you only have to wait until your friends come back. I'm sure you'll manage to find something else to do meantime.

Try contacting the place you left them they may have them. If they are you favorites they may just be kind and send them to you. Suzanne

Go to the kitchen and look in the junk drawer. Every house has more than 1 pair of scissors.

lol-except when you really need a pair "right this minute" and if you have 2 daughters that like to "borrow" them and not put them back Bev. That and scotch tape
